    geräumige wohnung in fussweite vom zentrum von cassis. uns war nicht bewusst, dass der pool soweit entfernt liegt und wir ihn mit ca. 30 anderem parteien in der überbauung teilen müssen. zudem fanden wir die wohnung nicht sehr sauber. der check-in hat funktioniert, war aber nicht digital (wie sonst fast auf der ganzen welt).

    Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Die Wohnung ist hell und großzügig geschnitten und vom Balkon hat man einen wunderschönen Blick in riesige Pinienbäume. Man sieht sogar ein bisschen das Meer. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer bisschen ältlichen Anlage ist aber modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, genau wie auf den Fotos. Der Pool ist riesig und der Blick dort atemberaubend. Ein kleiner Strand sowie das Dorf mit Hafen und Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar, was perfekt für uns war. Wir mussten in der gesamten Zeit kein einziges Mal ins Auto steigen, was unsere Kinder traumhaft fanden :-) Wirklich ein guter Ort, um sich zu erholen und was zu erleben!

In particular, we loved: - decor and layout of the flat - spacious - great location - the huge pool and amazing view - we had it almost to ourselves ! - the private car park and friendly concierge - the amount of family games in the apartment We had a lovely stay and enjoyed our time in Cassis Thank you!

The apartment is just a short walk from the shops and restaurants on the harbor. There is parking on site. The kitchen was well supplied and the host was very friendly. We can’t say enough good things about this unique property and Cassis in general.

    Good distance to town. Quiet location. Modern decor. Minimal furniture for sitting in the living room. No coffee maker for drip coffee. Was a Nespresso machine but no pods. Three bedrooms, but one had a Murphy bed with just a curtain dividing it from hall. Okay for a family but not for two or multiple couples. Very secure property. Leaving problematic as we were supposed to open gate with remote from balcony then person run down to get in car. We couldn’t open this was but fortunately someone else was leaving at same time so opened gate for us so we could exit and leave keys in unit.

    The apartment is located near the town center and there is almost no traffic noise. You have your own parking space which is essential in Cassis as public parking is hard to find. The apartment its self is as described and very clean. I still think the price is really high, but we were willing to pay it because we needed the space for our family and wanted to be in a quiet neighborhood because of the baby. So if you have the money to spend, I can recommend this apartment.

Negative: La photo pour présenter l' établissement avec piscine et vue sur la mer est un peu trompeuse. Cette vue est bien réelle mais ne correspond pas à celle qu'on a depuis l 'appartement. La plage au pied de la résidence n'invite ni à la baignade ni au farniente

    Positive: Die Lage ist großartig, teilweise Meerblick vom Balkon. Der Pool liegt direkt am Meer und der Strand ist über eine Treppe erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, besonders die Spiele und großzügige Küchenausstattung hat uns gefallen. Negative: Leider gibt es keine Klimaanlage (ist auch so beschrieben), aber dafür hätte es wenigstens Mückenschutz an den Fenstern geben können. Nachts mussten die Fenster auf sein, damit es halbwegs kühl ist, aber die Mücken sind regelrecht über uns hergefallen. Die Anlage ist sehr aufwändig mit verschlossenen Toren geschützt - auch zum rauskommen benötigt man die Fernbedienung zum Öffnen.

    Positive: Location, pool and local beach were great! Also a fantastic selection of toys and games for a kid. Good store cupboard with things left by previous guests. Negative: We had a little trouble making the oven work. Not much storage space (it was fine, we lived out of suitcases).

    Positive: bon emplacement. Negative: Accueil et remise des clefs laborieux. Les voisins nous ont aussi aboyé dessus sans raison car ils en ont marre des touristes! Appartement froid. Attention: Vue: parking et portail d'entrée de la résidence. Pas de vue mer tel que nous l'avions cru sur l'annonce. Loin de la piscine. Balcon tout rouillé et défraichi. Aucun shampoing ni savon. 1 douche et 1 WC dans un placard: inutilisable pour personnes de grandes tailles, (ex: comme moi 1.88m) Piscine NON ENTRETENUE: impossible de s'y baigner alors que l'on a loué un appartement AVEC piscine. Location beaucoup trop chère pour ce que c'est. Un dédommagement devrait nous être offert.

    Positive: Appartement bien placé à proximité du centre ville ,et de la plage, appartement joliment décoré, espace salon salle à manger clair et agréable, Belle suite parentale, possibilité de faire du télétravail facilement aussi , échanges fluides avec la conciergerie. Negative: La 3eme chambre est en faite une chambre d appoint juste séparée par un rideau du couloir donc très accessibles aux bruits couloir et salon. Aucun placards dans les chambres ce qui n est pas pratique sur un long séjour.

    Très bel appartement grand, spacieux et aménagé avec goût dans une belle résidence avec piscine et plage juste à côté. Place de parking et emplacement idéal pour tout faire à pieds. Toutefois quelques améliorations sont à prévoir concernant l’entretien de l’appartement (une des douches défectueuse, manque de lumière dans une des chambres, manque de pile dans le badge du portail, un nettoyage plus approfondi des tiroirs et ustensiles de la cuisine est nécessaire). De plus, 10h pour un check out est trop tôt de mon point de vue.

    Really great place - better even than the pictures present. Large and light bedrooms, amazing well-equiped kitchen, a lot of small cooking essentials available, like spices, olive oil, etc., which is very nice and convenient. The location is really great, close to the harbrour and to the sea. You will have glimpses of sea from the balcony, and it is an incredible place to have your lunch and chill with a book. The condo has a large pool which is located next to the sea, and the apartment provides the sun beds. Overall, very enjoyable and stress-free experience.

    Though we were happy with the apartment itself (nicely decorated, great location with close access to the beach) our stay was tainted by the behavior of the rental agency managing the property, who took the opportunity to claim damages to the floor following our stay (1,000 euro) that we did not do - the situation is still pending despite reaching out multiple times to Airbnb, as well as the agency itself. I have been a client of Airbnb for almost 10 years both as a guest and as a host for several years, with a spotless record. For the first time, I feel compelled to provide a negative review in order to protect other Airbnb guests and avoid falling into the same trap. This apartment is managed by a rental agency Dodo-en-Cassis who is managing over 50 apartments in the area. Prior to departure some of my questions were unanswered (asking for recommendations for restaurants). I received automated messages directing me to a website with a video and recommendations. Just before arriving I noticed another review from previous renters just before us (April 2022) who complained about the apartment not being entirely clean and generally worn down and in need of love and care. This review had been posted and I read it as we were about to depart for Cassis. I flagged this immediately to the agency, as I was concerned - the assured me all would be fine. Indeed as flagged by the other renters, the dishwasher wasn’t working properly (you must clean many dishes after running them through). There was also an issue with a pump with a foul odor upon arrival but had been just fixed so didn’t become a major issue. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Eva who gave a very quick walkthrough of the apartment. In the children’s room a portable baby bed was set up (on top of the floor stain for which we would later be accused of). I remember thinking it was strange that it was set up (we were not traveling with a baby) and it took up a fair amount of space. No one from the agency came to check us out. They were apparently busy with other guests and unlikely well staffed to properly take care of 42 properties. We spend a good amount of time cleaning the apartment and left it in a very good state - all the dishes were washed and put back into the cabinets. I was shocked to receive a message from Airbnb the day after returning home with the damage claim of 1k for an ink stain on the floor of the children’s bedroom. We did not have anything with us that would have caused that stain and there is no trace of any stain on any of our bags. I rejected the claim and explained that this was from a prior renter and had been hidden underneath the folding baby cot. Airbnb returned back to me asking for 313 euro - based on their evaluation of the situation. I contacted Eva to express my outrage and mysteriously, as our check in host, she was not even aware about this accusation. A bit strange since she was the one who checked us in. Seems like it had been reported by the cleaner and the manager simple charged us. I phoned the manager Benjamin who insists we are responsible - even though he was never present during our stay, and unlikely has stepped foot into the apartment recently as Dodo-en-Cassis manages 42 properties. I told him he should go check the “livre d’or” guestbook inside of the apartment, where we had left a written (positive) feedback. I recalled reading another recent entry from a family who had thanked the rental host for bringing their children markers to color with during their stay. Perhaps this is the origin of the stain on the floor. I never heard back from him and received a reminder from Airbnb to pay up. Given this negative experience and stress following our trip, I cannot recommend to others to rent from Dodo-en-Cassis agency. Other points to be aware of about the apartment: The third bedroom has a curtain and no door. For certain groups this might not be ideal. For us it was fine (my mother in law stayed in that room and was okay with it). There is no way to exit the premises through the main gate without the key with the electronic badge. There is a keypad and so likely a code, but the agency was unable to provide it so at times we needed to go down and open the gate for other members of the family who didn’t have the key to get out or back in. We were given 2 sets of keys (we were 3 adults and 2 older children). So this was rather inconvenient at times.

    Dodo-A-Cassis is in a fabulous location within minutes walk from the harbour and beach. It is peaceful and quiet, has ample space, a big outside terrace, the decor is lovely and thought out and is a really quirky apartment however does appear tired in comparison to the photos on airbnb. The cleanliness of the apartment definitely needs improving, we needed to run everything through the dishwasher which we found to be blocked and not cleaning very well and the toilets weren't as clean as we would have liked. Towels were stained and need replacing. During our 3 day stay in April the apartment was very cold until the day we left, maintenance did ring us to say it would warm up as it had only been put on the day before we arrived. We thought the price was expensive due to the above and on leaving some feedback and photos privately once we had checked out we never received a response :( Things we loved about Dodo-A-Cassis, the space, cool decor, comfy beds, lovely children's room, amazing location, outside space. The apartment needs a little love and care and an extra good clean. If this happened we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

    The apartment has a fantastic location and has been very well designed with a spacious interior and pretty balcony. Our children aged 6-8 years loved the low beds for sleeping at night and the raised beds for relaxing during the day. The kitchen is well appointed and has a Nespresso coffee machine, be sure to pack your own coffee pods. The location is wonderful with a large communal pool and very picturesque outlook. There are gated steps down to a stone beach where the cove offers an amazing swimming/snorkelling/kayaking/SUP environment. Local small grocery shops and restaurants are a short walk away on Rue de l’Arène.

    Beau logement, belles prestations, calme et bien placé, malheureusement satisfaction mitigée par des prestations en dessous de celles vantées. Nous avons réservé pour deux couples, si l'un a pu bénéficier d'une belle chambre avec SDB privée, l'autre a du se contenter en guise de salle de bain, d'un placard de 2 m², digne d'une chambre de bonne parisienne, et d'une "chambre" dont l'intimité avec le hall est assurée par un rideau.   121. Appartement spacieux et bien situé

    Bien équipé, ménage correct à l'arrivée. Quartier calme. Pas de chance, nous avons eu des travaux dans l'immeuble toute la semaine. Un deuxième trousseau de clés ne serait pas de trop pour une semaine en famille !
