   The house was the perfect getaway for a family trip. Everything was clean and the house has a nice view. We loved the location - easy to walk to Plage Bestouan and into town, and also has the added benefit of parking. Our trip was during an intense heatwave, and while the listing says the house has air conditioning, it is only in the living area. The bedrooms were very warm at night. This wouldn’t have been an issue though without the heatwave (100 degree F days). All in all, we loved it! Bring your own beach towels as there aren’t any in the house.

   Una perla nella splendida Cassis. Abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida villa nella settimana di Ferragosto e ci siamo goduti la pace e il fresco. La casa è ben arredata ed attrezzata, ci siamo sentiti ospiti di un amico. Il nostro cane e gatto hanno adorato riposarsi nel fresco giardino.

   This is a lovely home in a quiet part of Cassis. We were able to easily walk to the Calanques from here as well as Presqu’ile and the Bestouan beach. The town Centre is a good twenty minutes walk but that was fine for us. The house itself is generally well equipped and consistent with how it looks online. We really enjoyed using the Alexa while out on the lovely porch which has an adjustable awning. It would be nice if there were beach towels and chairs or mats provided. I also think some of the linens need upgrading - a few of the towels were a bit grey and rough.

    Great stay in this pretty villa. Cassis is amazing and you can enjoy everything it has to offer perfectly from this villa. The old harbour and beach is walking distance and the views from the garden are great. The villa is spacious and clean, bathrooms and kitchen are modern and nice and there is a big terrace in front of the house. You do need a car for your groceries, but other than that everything is walkable. We had a lovely stay!

    A fantastic house in a great location. Wake up to a sea view and then decide... Turn left out the door and walk into Cassis town with its shops, restaurants and port. Or turn right and walk straight into the Calanques. We loved our stay. We hope to be back very soon!

    Positive: Breakfast n/a Location was stunning, enjoyed the space Negative: As much as we enjoyed the space, there were a few small things that could have been improved upon. 1. Rental is advertised as having A/c. Clearly only in the main room. Additional fans would have been much appreciated for the bedrooms. 2. Quality of the towels we rented could have been better. At least one was pretty ratty looking. also, hand towels would have been helpful. 3. There was only enough soap in each shower for one usage ( 2 people each). Should have had additional soap. 4. 4 rolls of toilet paper were provided for 5 people / 4 days. When requested, as you know, we were told that is all that is provided ( and go buy your own). We all found this highly inconsiderate. There were not enough rolls to begin with and it feels petty to not provide additional rolls considering the quality of the rental.

    A good summer house with sea view.

    Positive: The layout of the property is great and the outside areas too. It has nice lounging area and long chaises for everyone. The direct view to the and the trees were a big plus. Negative: Summer houses could have a higher cleaning standard. There were too many mosquitos and the entrance gate is too narrow. A big car is not suitable for this property.

    Positive: Maison chaleureuse et confortable. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. L’emplacement est idéal avec une vue sur la mer et très proche des Calanques tout en étant dans une rue très calme. Negative: Peut-être une rénovation de la salle de bain de la grande chambre . Et pourquoi pas une piscine… et un 2ème trousseau de clés.

    Située dans les hauteurs de la presqu’île de Cassis, la villa offre un cadre idyllique et une vue magnifique sur la mer. Elle est située au calme, idéalement placée pour les randonneurs désireux d'explorer les calanques (dont l’accès se trouve juste derrière, à quelques centaines de mètres). Les sanitaires sont neufs, les chambres spacieuses, fraîches et propres. Beaucoup d’informations sont communiquées aux arrivants ce qui est très appréciable.

    The house is absolutely gorgeous! It was very clean, looked maybe even better than in the pictures (if that's even possible), and had everything we needed. We stayed there with our 3-year-old toddler, and while the house was certainly within walking distance to the city center (port) for an adult, it was a bit too far for a toddler (and Cassis is hilly). This was definitely not a disadvantage - just saying that so that you can get mentally prepared. Overall 5* in every dimension!

    We were a family with 3 small kids (ages 3, 3, and 5) and the house was the perfect size for us. We loved having lot of space both inside and especially outside the house in the garden and on the patio. The house was clean when we checked in and the photos give an accurate representation of the property. The kitchen is well stocked, better than most AirBnB rentals that we have had. The only challenge with our small kids was the location...the house is located in an upscale part of Cassis that has beautiful villas...however, to get to a kids-friendly beach and to the town, the only options are driving or taking a 15-30 minute walk down steep and narrow sidewalks that need to be negotiated with other pedestrians (many of them starting on their hike to the calanques). We ended up driving each day to the supermarket, to the town's parking garage (Mimosas) and it worked out ok as each of these locations are 5min away by car. Overall, it was a great stay and we may come back to Cassis and to this house.

    We traveled to Cassis as a family of four with two teenagers. This was the perfect home to explore Cassis, the Calanques, and Provence area. We loved the home- it’s so spacious, comfortable with all the needed amenities and beautifully remodeled bathrooms! We had a fantastic vacation and found the check in process easy and the host’s suggestions immensely helpful. Couldn’t ask for anything better ! Thank you.

    Villa Escapade Cassis

    We were very pleased with the location of this Villa, the setting was beautiful and the Villa is well maintained. We enjoyed the time on the patio / hiked to the Calanques from there and it was an easy walk to the town centre. A few minor issues were the only reason they didn't get an excellent. Advertised as having A/C, however, it is only in the main room. One room had a fan, but the others did not. Wouldn't have minded having the windows / doors open if there hadn't been mosquitos and moths. Additionally, the promised toiletries (shower soap) were almost empty upon our arrival, the additional charges for towels/sheets is fair, but the towels were somewhat ratty and no hand towels were provided. We had to purchase that and toilet paper as there wasn't enough for the whole visit. Minor issues, but a little annoying nonetheless. We would still recommend Villa Escapade for a stay!

    Wonderful stay

    We had the most wonderful week stay here. The home was spacious, well equipped and perfectly situated. The hospitality was perfect and the check in and check out seamless. This was the perfect location to explore the Calanques, Cassis town and surrounding region. The bathrooms were recently renovated and luxurious. The view was lovely and neighbors quiet. The neighborhood cannot be beat in Cassis, away from the bustle of town yet easily accessible to town. We travelled as a family of four with two teenagers and everyone loved the vacation and getting to explore this region of France with all the comforts of a home. Thank you for all!! We would love to come back.

    Splendide séjour

    , dans une maison très agréable et soignée. Cuisine très bien équipée, belle vue, bonne situation entre les calanques et le port. On était 2 couples avec des enfants et on a bien pu profiter. Les enfants peuvent jouer sur le terrain sans grand danger. Et les calanques étaient a qqs min de marche a pied. Merci

    La maison est très bien située : au calme sur la presqu’île de Cassis, avec une très belle vue sur le cap Canaille, un accès immédiat aux calanques (Port Miou, port pin, en-vau) et à 20 min à pied du port et du centre ville. La maison est par ailleurs spacieuse, agréable et très bien équipée avec un grand terrain ombragé.

    Maison sans prétention mais fonctionnelle de 3 chambres et 2 SDB dont une en-suite, près des calanques et du parc national. Grand jardin et beaucoup de place pour se garer. Check-in et check out tres simple. Communication efficace avec l’agence.
